Jack Kagan, 2008 Hall of Honor Recipient

Jack Kagan, of Davidsonville, MD and Sewalls Point, FL, was born in Boston, MA on June 26, 1921. He was an Army veteran of WW II, a leader of men, a philanthropist, a builder of companies, a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and a true American original. He started working in the moving business in 1963 and went on to own Great American Forwarders in Alexandria in 1965 from which he never retired. Mr. Kagan was a member of The International Association of Movers, The Household Goods Forwarding Association, The National Defense Transportation Association and the Virginia Movers Association. He was also an avid sailor.
