Through Ministerial Order No. 649, issued on July 6th, 2020 by the Uruguayan Ministry of Health, new entry requirements were added in the current Covid-19 Pandemic context for the eastern country.

New Requirements:

• Accredit the negative result of the Covid-19 virus detection test by PCR-RT technique or similar, at the Uruguayan Ministry of Health, 72 hours before accessing the country.
• Repeat the test if the staying exceeds 7 days.
• Sign an Affidavit of "absence of symptoms of Covid-19" and having avoided contact with confirmed or suspected cases, in the past 14 days, prior to admission.
• Subscribe a Medical Travel Insurance that covers healthcare in case of contagion.
