The Ever Given Has Set Sail From The Suez Canal, Months After It Blocked The Waterway
The Ever Given left the canal's Great Bitter Lake, where it had been held for over three months amid a financial dispute. The development came after its Japanese owner, Shoei Kisen Kaisha Ltd., reached a settlement with canal authorities over a compensation amount following weeks of negotiations and a court standoff.

Current Guidance for Travel to the U.S.
While many countries have recently opened travel to U.S. visitors with varying conditions (vaccination proof, negative covid tests, quarantine, etc.), the same courtesy has not been offered to those traveling to the U.S. (outside of family, and other very limited, largely non-business reasons). The CDC has not updated the list of countries where visitors are prohibited from entry. Unfortunately, this prohibition represents a large base of potential international people who are IAM members (EU, UK, among others).

Changes in roles at Classic Moving / CFM alliance
CFM Alliance Pte Ltd Group is excited to announce and welcome Chris Henebrey as their new General Manager of Classic Moving Malaysia. Brad Street, CFM Alliance CEO & Founder, said, “Like me, Chris is a moving man at heart. He comes with 22 years of experience in all different divisions of the moving and relocation industry. Some of you may have crossed paths with him before, as he has previously worked for White & Co in the UK, and Team Relocations (Now SIRVA) before he started his own moving company in Malaysia 4 years ago.”
The opening of the Classic Moving Malaysia office and the hiring of Henebrey to lead it, advances the Group’s mission to expand its footprint within the industry so that they can better serve their clients.

Jill Porter-Scott, PHR, SHRM-CP, Has Joined Aires as Director of PeopleX
Aires is pleased to announce that Jill Porter-Scott, PHR, SHRM-CP, has joined the company as Director of PeopleX. This group, named for its mission of creating a world class people experience, manages Aires’ human resources functions. In her role, Jill will be focused primarily on benefits, culture, and inclusion, leading the PeopleX team and assuming all human resources oversight.
Porter-Scott brings more than 20 years of communications, human resources, and leadership experience to Aires, having worked in numerous roles in human resources. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Human Resources & Administration for a leading shortline railroad and transportation company. Among her many professional achievements, she currently serves as a board member of the Pittsburgh Human Resources Association (PHRA), the largest human resources professional association in western Pennsylvania.

Atlas World Group, Inc. Names Ann Heathcott Chief Security Officer of Atlas Van Lines, Inc.
Atlas World Group, Inc., the parent company of Atlas Van Lines, Inc., announces that Ann Heathcott has been promoted to Chief Security Officer of Atlas Van Lines. Most recently, Heathcott served as Senior Director, IT Network Services at Atlas World Group.
In her new role, Heathcott will be responsible for the ongoing development and execution of the Security, Privacy and Business Resiliency programs for Atlas World Group. In addition, Heathcott will work collaboratively across Atlas World Group’s ten subsidiaries to ensure compliant processes are in place to protect the organization. She will also lend her experience to provide consulting services for the Atlas Agency network, consisting of over 400 interstate moving agents in the United States and Canada and continue leading the Atlas World Group Service Desk as the company enhances its abilities to effectively support the organization by investing in people, processes and tools.
