IAM Establishes a U.S. Domestic Asset-Based Task Force (TF-DAB)

IAM has established a task force of its U.S. asset-based movers, called Task Force DAB (Domestic Asset Based). IAM set up the task force to ensure we were focusing on areas important for U.S. asset-based movers. The initial task force consists of 18 members with a diverse background from across the country. This task force will help establish the “voice of the DAB” in IAM and ensure IAM is working on things important to the DAB demographic.

CFM Alliance Group Announces the Coming Together of its Five Subsidiaries

CFM Alliance is pleased to announce the formation of the CFM Alliance Group and three key changes to its management team. Brad Street moves into the position of Group CEO & Founder while Carl Häggström takes his new position as Group Managing Director. Carl will continue to drive a consistent operating model that fully leverages the end-to-end processes of the group’s suite of solutions and services.


Classic Moving is also excited to announce that Brian Milligan has been appointed as the new General Manager. Since joining the team 16 months ago, Brian’s demonstrated approach to leadership and operational mindset has helped the business to move to new heights.

Corrigan President Elected Chairman of UniGroup

The board of directors for UniGroup, a $1.6 billion transportation company, has elected Corrigan Moving System’s David Corrigan as its chairman. Corrigan is currently President and Chief Operating Officer of Corrigan Moving Systems based out of Michigan where he has served in several positions in his 40 years with the company. Prior to being elected chairman of the board, Corrigan has served on the board in numerous capacities for over 20 years. His father, Paul Corrigan, was the first chairman for United Van Lines.

Suddath Announces Jira Sansom As General Manager Dallas

Suddath today announced Jira Sansom as the new general manager for its Dallas-Fort Worth branch. Sansom is a motivated leader with over 20 years of experience in operations and logistics. He joins Suddath with a wealth of distribution experience and leadership standards from some of the most well-known brands in the U.S. Before joining Suddath, Sansom worked as a supply chain specialist at Martin Brower and before that, he served as general manager of distribution and logistics at Ryder in Hutchins, Texas.

Move One Moves Trucks to Chad

Move One has successfully completed the delivery of 32 Toyota Land Cruisers from Douala, Cameroon to N’djamena, Chad.

Move One delivers Toyota Land Cruisers to ChadThe transport was planned and performed under the strict supervision of both Move One Operations teams in Doula and N’djamena. The vehicles are part of the US State Department contribution in its continued support for Chad’s Anti-Terroism efforts in the Sahel Region. The vehicles were handed over to Chad’s Special Anti-Terrorism Group (SATG) which is a large contributor to the G5 Sahel force comprising Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, Mauritania and Chad.
