Move Control Order (MCO) in Malaysia extended until 28 April
RAMBRICKS INTERNATIONAL (M) SDN BHD Reports:
We would like to highlight to fellow members that the Move Control Order (MCO) in Malaysia has been further extended until 28 April 2020 and most of Malaysian seaports are running at 80-90% capacity rate at the moment. It is highly anticipated that inbound HHGPE shipment can be heavily impacted by clearance backlog as most non-essential cargos are being put on low priority by the port authorities. As our company is currently facing this backlog issue prominently at Port Klang we would like to advise fellow members to be cautious and constantly in touch with destination agents on current developments. By doing this, it can potential saves everyone from hefty and unnecessary port and demurrages charges.
