Join IAM
Membership in IAM is an important step in growing your business and making your company known among industry peers. The IAM Mission is to be the global champion for the moving industry by advancing the professionalism and operational excellence of our members.
Join Requirements
To consider your company for IAM membership, we encourage applicants to verify that you meet the qualifications to the join the IAM community.
Companies must have been in business for at least one year and be able to provide a business registration license. The business registration license must support that the prospective IAM member company can legally operate in that state/country where it is domiciled. The name on the business registration license must also match the company name on the application.
Membership Application Process
To complete the membership application, please provide the following:
- Sponsorship letters from two current IAM members stating that they are recommending you for membership, on sponsoring company’s letterhead, signed by a company official:
- A PDF of the current country/state/province business registration license. If applicable, the document should provide the tax ID number;
- Completed membership application
*The one year in business requirement does not apply to Supplier members.
Once the items referenced above have been verified, IAM will post your company name on the IAM prospective member list for 30-days. At the end of the 30-day period, your company will become an official IAM member, unless we receive member comments or information that would necessitate further evaluation by IAM.
