IAM Launches Data Solutions Initiative

Sharing data in our industry is a challenge. There are many stakeholders and they all need access to information to perform their role. To solve this, IAM has organized its Data Solutions Initiative to provide our membership and industry with a forum through which we can develop solutions to overcome this challenge and pave the way for real-time, reliable, and protected data for all moving stakeholders. Learn More About the Data Solutions Initiative.

Canadian Government Addresses Current, Former Public Servants, Military

The government has contracts with BGRS and SIRVA Canada to provide relocation support to employees. This message is intended to outline the steps the Government of Canada is taking to respond to this situation.

3 Commercial Ships Hit by Missiles in Red Sea

Ballistic missiles fired by Yemen’s Houthi rebels struck three commercial ships Sunday in the Red Sea, including a 4250 TEU container ship operated by OOCL. Meanwhile, a U.S. warship shot down three drones in self-defense, the U.S. military said.

The strikes marked an escalation in a series of maritime attacks in the Mideast linked to the Israel-Hamas war, as multiple vessels found themselves in the crosshairs of a single Houthi assault for the first time in the conflict.

IAM's Matthieu Odijk Visits Traslochi CD Removals SRL

Photographed (L to R): Gianluca Giglio, Christian Giglio, Pamela Maestri, Matthieu Odijk, Flavio Savalli, Nello Canfora

In connection with the recent AITI & FIM conference where our Director of Sales, Matthieu Odijk, participated in the two-day event, he also paid a visit to one of IAM’s Italian members. Because when in Rome…right?

Welcomed by Pamela Maestri and Gianluca Giglio, Matthieu was treated to not only great Italian coffee but also got a tour of their large facility. CD Traslochi, being an IAMTrusted moving company, reflects a high standard of organization and efficiency in its operations. We all know that moving families across the globe can be challenging, almost needing the movers and packers to be superheroes to deal with all the emotions, challenges, and all that is thrown at them. The trucks that CD Traslochi is using resemble this by having their superhero theme on the side, inspiring the children of the families, and acknowledging the value of having a great staff to do the job!

It was a warm welcome and showed the importance of IAM visiting its members whenever possible, as the value lies in the face-to-face meetings and directly hearing about their challenges.
