Top Five News Stories You Might Have Missed

Stand Out from the Rest as an IAMTrusted Moving Company

Stand out with the IAMTrusted Moving Company (ITMC) designation. Backed by a strict adherence to the IAM Code of Ethics and powered by the IAM Issue Resolution System, this innovative program assures prompt and fair resolution of issues raised against any company who has the badge on the IAM Mobility Exchange (IAMX). The first phase of this initiative deals with member-to-member issues and this will build the foundation for a future phase focused on moving customers.

This is needed more than ever as rogue operators continue to scam unsuspecting customers. See the recent articles on moving scams in the US below.

Speaking of IAMTrusted Moving Company, Have you Seen DN Van Lines' Wrapped Truck?

Oded Carmi from DN Van Lines recently wrapped one of his trucks to show off his affiliation with IAM and the IAMTrusted Moving Company program. Thank you for your fervency and zeal for this program, Oded!

Not everyone wants to wrap a truck, but maybe you want to show off your excitement to be part of this initiative. See the IAMTrusted Moving Company Brand Guide to learn how you can demonstrate your hard work online, on your business ccards, or in some other way.

Update from the Core Members Management Board

IAM's Core Members Management Board (CMMB) has been working to bring you an engaging and untraditional informative session that will take place during the IAM Annual Meeting & Expo on Oct. 10 at 1:00 p.m.

Forget about sitting in rows and listening to a panel. This year it will be your turn to actively participate in the Core Members meeting. It will be lively, engaging and entertaining, and participants will leave with new insights and tools to implement in their day-to-day business.

Led by CMMB Chair Catherina Stier, the volunteers convened this week to fine-tune an incredible lineup of topics impacting the global moving and mobility industry.

Think about "The Rise of AI" or a controversial topic like "Contraband," or if that doesn’t appeal enough, maybe hearing from peers on what they have implemented to become sustainable will trigger your interest.

The CMMB's primary focus is creating an interactive and engaging session in a roundtable setting. Attendees will leave feeling inspired and equipped with practical knowledge they can immediately apply in their workplaces.

Be on the lookout for further updates in the e-Portal and the IAM LinkedIn page as the session evolves.
