Senate Armed Services Committee Passes and Issues FY 21 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) Summary

Earlier this week, the Senate Armed Services Committee approved, and yesterday, released a summary of the FY 21 NDAA. The full Senate may be in a position to take up the legislation prior to the July 4th recess. While the bill text has not been issued, the summary indicates forthcoming provisions and requirements related to the Defense Personal Property Program (DP3). References to the moving program can be found on page 14 of the summary.
Earlier today, the House Armed Services Committee announced the background briefing and markup dates for their version of the FY 21 NDAA. The mark-up for the Subcommittee on Readiness will be held the afternoon of June 22nd. The full Committee mark is scheduled for July 1st.
