Personally Identifiable Information (PII) Legislation Passes U.S. Senate, Advances to President Biden
IAM is very pleased to report that yesterday, the U.S. Senate unanimously approved H.R. 1568, the Moving Americans Privacy Protection Act, legislation that will now require U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to remove sensitive manifest data for incoming shipments, prior to their sale to commercial interests.
