The IAM Annual Meeting program is coming together and we have just updated the website. As you are building out your meeting schedule, save time for many of the valuable learning sessions we will be hosting at the conference this year. Bookmark this page as IAM will be updating with more and more information over the coming weeks.

Showcase Your Brand at the Annual Meeting & Expo

Make a serious splash at the IAM Annual Meeting—branding sponsorships are new this year, and a few are still available. These include:

  • Grab & Go Food @ The Hub: Everyone must eat! This branding opportunity will provide your brand with more than 26 hours of onsite exposure throughout the conference. Food will be available throughout the day in the Expo Hall, and your company’s name and logo will be associated with every meal, snack and hydration station.
  • Tech Package: Capture everyone’s attention—all attendees will enter your company name for Wi-Fi access, and your logo will be displayed on charging stations and computers in the Expo Hall, as well as the event app.

IAM Supports Calls For “More Balanced Maritime Market System”

Beyond IAM’s longtime advocacy with the FMC, we are also happy to support FIATA’s call for a fairer system for our members.

FIATA – the International Association of Freight Forwarding Associations – issued a strong call on June 30 2022 for a fairer global shipping system in the wake of the severe disruptions faced by all shippers.

On behalf of our members and the challenges they are facing to service their clients, the International Association of Movers (IAM) supports the FIATA statement and the policy positions it outlines. IAM is not alone in supporting this statement; our support is bolstered by our partners the FIDI Global Alliance (FIDI), the Latin American and Caribbean Movers Association (LACMA), and the Pan American International Movers Association (PAIMA) to show a united industry front and strengthen calls for balance to be restored for shippers worldwide.

Beginning with the 2023 membership year, your company will need to select one of our revised membership categories. This process will fulfill one phase of IAM’s strategic plan—to restructure membership in support of creating a world-class experience for our members.

Learn more about how the new categories will benefit your company by seeing the email we sent on the topic recently, checking out our May 18 webcast, taking our New Member Category Quiz, and reading through our New Member Category webpage.

After taking the quiz, let our membership team know what your selection is.
