Have You Invested in the IAM Annual Meeting Yet? Don't Wait too Long!

If you have been watching the announcements, you know that the exhibit hall at this year's Annual Meeting has limited space. Approximately 80% of the booths are already reserved. Reserve your booth today! The good news is that there are still a few exhibit booths and other sponsorships left. Many thanks to those who have already taken this important step! See which companies have already reserved their spots! And don't wait too long to reserve your own spot!

Individual registration is open for all members and early bird registration lasts through July 5.

Note: If you reside in a country where you are required to obtain a visa to enter the U.S., schedule your appointment early. IAM has learned that in some countries the wait times to schedule visa interviews is much longer than they have historically been. Schedule your appoint now. Do not wait. Download the visa request letter.

In Memoriam: Rick Curry

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of industry veteran and longtime champion of IAM, Rick Curry.

Rick Curry passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 18. He was a former IAM Chairman and is the current Chairman of the IAM Ethics Council and the Co-Chair of the IAM Looking Back project. He is also a member of IAM’s Hall of Honor, and served for many years on the Hall of Honor Selection Committee.

Rick was widely known and loved in the industry, and was very active in IAM. He devoted a great deal of time, care and wisdom to the association, and will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Learn more about Rick and his career.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family. We will share more details of Rick’s life and his work in future communications.

Your Association Needs Your Feedback

Beginning with the 2023 membership year, your company will need to select one of our revised membership categories. This process will fulfill one phase of IAM’s strategic plan—to restructure membership in support of creating a world-class experience for our members.

Learn more about how the new categories will benefit your company by seeing the email we sent on the topic recently, checking out our May 18 webcast, taking our New Member Category Quiz, and reading through our New Member Category webpage.

After taking the quiz, let our membership team know what your selection is.

Pre-travel testing requirement lifted for travel to U.S.

Note: If you are considering coming to the IAM Annual Meeting and reside in a country where you are required to obtain a visa to enter the U.S., schedule your appointment early. IAM has learned that in some countries the wait times to schedule Visa interviews is much longer than they have historically been. Schedule your appoint now. Do not wait. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention cited a "new phase" of the pandemic in a statement confirming the rule change. The requirement ended on June 12. That means flights departing to the US from a foreign country at or after that time no longer have to present a negative test result or documentation of recovery in the past 90 days from Covid-19.

Alleged Debtor List

IAM keeps a list of companies that have been alleged to have unsettled debts with other member companies. Check the Alleged Debtor List frequently, as it is updated often. Also note that the Voluntary Cancellations List has been updated as companies opt to not renew their memberships. The list of members canceled for not paying their dues is also up-to-date. We provide this information to help you make informed decisions about which companies you do business with. Be sure to reference the list of companies known to be misusing the IAM logo, and let us know if you find others.
