Effortless Connections Worldwide.  Experiences Unfiltered. The IMA Conference.

The IMA conference held in Phuket, Thailand consisted of global  mobility professionals who gathered to make new connections, reinforce  existing relationships, grow their business as well as share the current trends and challenges faced within the industry.

Patricia Jade Ooi, Founding Partner of the International Mobility Alliance (IMA) put together a conference that embodied the perfect mix of business, social networking sessions, and the opportunity to embrace the local culture of Phuket.

IAM Director of Membership & Database Management Julia O’Connor had the opportunity to connect with current members to gain insights into their business needs through one-to-one business meetings. In addition, Julia had a chance to identify future member committee volunteers for IAM, educate the members on the value behind the Receivable Protection Program (RPP), IAM Learning Training courses, analytics available through Mobility Exchange, the upcoming annual meeting and much more!

IAM thanks Patricia Jade Ooi for organizing an incredible event and providing the opportunity to network with attendees from all over the world.

IAM keeps a list of companies that have been alleged to have unsettled debts with other member companies. Check the Alleged Debtor List frequently, as it is updated often. Also note that the Voluntary Cancellations List has been updated as companies opt to not renew their memberships. The list of members canceled for not paying their dues is also up-to-date. We provide this information to help you make informed decisions about which companies you do business with. Be sure to reference the list of companies known to be misusing the IAM logo, and let us know if you find others.

JK Community Farm Hosts 4th Annual Plant-A-Thon

The JK Community Farm is seeking teams of volunteers from companies, civic groups as well as individuals of all ages and sponsors to participate in its 4th annual Plant-A-Thon, scheduled for May 20-22. With three days to choose from, individuals and teams kick off the growing season by planting nearly 20,000 seedlings that will provide 53,000 nutrient-dense meals for families in need. In addition, the event will help raise $35,000 to support the nonprofit farm’s work. Food trucks, music and vendors will be on site for a fun filled day of giving back and food education. The nonprofit farm provides chemical free, healthy produce and protein to those struggling with food insecurity in the region. The farm donates the food it grows to nonprofit partners, including Loudoun Hunger Relief, Food for Others, Arlington Food Assistance Center, and DC Central Kitchen.

SIT Spain Moves Famous Artwork

From SIT Spain's LinkedIn Page:

“Today we bring the installation carried out in 2019 of the work 'El Martirio de San Andrés' (H.1638-1639) of Rubens. This great canvas measures more than 3 meters high by 2.20 wide and settled at the Thyssen Museum Hall. The work was directly commissioned to the artist for the senior altar of the Church of the Old Hospital of San Andrés de los Flamencos, the origin of the current @fcamberes, who is the one who gave the work to the museum.”
