Hapag-Lloyd Massively Expands Its Container Fleet

Hapag-Lloyd is once again investing heavily in its container fleet: Following its large order of 150,000 TEU of containers in April, the shipping company ordered an additional 60,000 TEU of standard containers at the end of May. In doing so, Hapag-Lloyd is responding to the persistent global shortage of equipment – and will be able to provide a better service to its customers.

First Arpin Strong Virtual 5K Walk & Run Raises Over $5,000 For Charity

The Arpin Charitable Fund announced today that its first Arpin Strong 5K Walk & Run, held virtually due to the COVID pandemic, has successfully raised $5,089 for charity. The Arpin Charitable Fund, also known as Arpin Strong, was formed to help those in need during natural disasters, or when unfortunate circumstances arise, by participating in community-based volunteer projects and fundraising events throughout the year.

Kelly Foreman joins Atlas

Atlas World Group, Inc, the parent company of Atlas Van Lines, has announced that Kelly Foreman has been named vice president of human resources for Atlas Van Lines.
