Last week, USTRANSCOM’s Personal Property Director chose a select list of industry representatives to engage with on potential business rule changes for 2022. The potential ideas included were clearly defined as a working list that should NOT imply any endorsement from USTRANSCOM; or that there was any agreement that the idea had merit from their perspective.
The list included concepts associated with minimum performance scores; electronic inventories; common financial and administrative control; TSP management groups and others. USTRANSCOM implied that efforts would begin soon, along with the formation of small working groups to get after new proposals for 2022.
As an industry, we have a short window of opportunity to present DoD with positive ideas that could improve the program for the customer. We’d appreciate your thoughts on ways to improve the program that could be implemented by 2022.
Join us next week, 12 May at 1:00pm EDT on IAM’s monthly Military-Government webcast to hear more about what might be on the list of 2022 proposals, and bring your ideas on proposals industry could present to DoD that could improve the DoD customer’s moving experience.
