Annual Meeting Early Adopters Save Big!

IAM is seeing increased interest in the Virtual Annual Meeting in October and wants to remind members that the special early adopter rate of $299 increases at the end of August. On Sept. 1 it goes to the normal rate of $349. at the special early adopter rate!


And in case you missed it, IAM President Charles White was on last week to explain some aspects of the virtual meeting.

American Moving and Storage Association (AMSA) joins the American Trucking Associations (ATA)

On Aug. 4, the American Moving and Storage Association (AMSA) Board of Directors approved the move to pursue joining the American Trucking Associations (ATA) as the Moving & Storage Conference. AMSA, with more than 3,000 members, has been representing the moving and storage industry since 1998. The Association supports programs and activities promoting consumer protection, professional development, safety and operational efficiency.

Two IAM Members Expelled

In accordance with Article IV, Section 4, of the IAM By-Laws, the following companies have been expelled from the International Association of Movers (IAM):


Al-Dana Freight Forwarders: Manama, Bahrain

Wridgways: Victoria, Australia


These companies were expelled after they failed to resolved debts owed to other IAM Members. These debts were at least $10,000 USD and at least 120 days past due. These companies and their Principals will be unable to rejoin IAM unless these debts are resolved.

Ziegler Relocation Undergoing Liquidation

IAM has confirmed that Ziegler Relocation Nv/Sa has filed for liquidation in Belgium. Ziegler’s membership in IAM has been terminated as a result. If you are owed a debt from Ziegler Relocation Nv/Sa, as soon as possible. Any debt incurred from Ziegler after August 20, 2020, will no longer be eligible for coverage under the RPP.
