IAM to Move to a New Office This Weekend

IAM is in the process of moving its office. The move will take place on July 11, with staff reporting to the office on July 13. Please expect a delay in response time as staff unpack and the new infrastructure (phone, internet, etc.) gets set up. The new address will be .


As always, members are welcome to visit the IAM office any time they are in the Washington, DC area.

Early Bird Registration Discounts EXTENDED through July 31

Early Bird registration rates for the 2020 IAM Annual Meeting & Expo were originally set to expire on June 26. However, we at IAM realize these are difficult times, and feel it is not appropriate to increase pricing for the Annual Meeting at this time. As a benefit to our members, we are extending the discounted rate through the end of July 2020.



Virtual Conference Components are Under Development Now

Although we are looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible, we are aware that many factors will go into the decision of whether to attend an in-person event in the next few months.


Please be aware that we are currently working with multiple solution providers to bring you state-of-the-art virtual conference options including robust one-to-one networking, exhibitor opportunities, learning sessions with top industry leaders, and time for gathering on a social level.

New Process for Submitting an RPP Claim

IAM has recently moved our RPP Claim submission process to the . This will give IAM members more up-to-date information on the status of their claim while providing them with the ability to return back to their claim and update it with additional information.


To file, you must register and sign into your IAMX account. If you do not have a username on IAMX, . Next, access the RPP Dashboard for your company under the ADMIN tab at the top of the screen. and email with any questions.

IAM-YP Elections Open July 21

Voting for the IAM-YP Chair and Vice Chair will take place starting July 21-Aug. 21. The winners will be announced at the IAM-YP Members Meeting during the 58th IAM Annual Meeting.

At MF Interlogistics we have teamed up with Danes Worldwide – an organization with more than 100 years of experience of assisting expats moving abroad or Danes returning to Denmark. As a part hereof, Danes Worldwide provides an expert panel who are available to offer their knowledge to the organization’s members - and in many cases have personal experience with being an expat or moving to Denmark.


We are happy to be a part of this expert panel as the International Moving Expert and we are ready to assist with any questions moving either to or from Denmark may cause. This advisory service is completely free of charge for members of Danes Worldwide.

André Jonsson joins Alfa in Sweden

We are happy to announce that Alfa Quality Moving AB has employed André Jonsson as our new CFO. André will be responsible for the Finance department for the Alfa Group and will join our HQ in Jönköping in August.


André comes from an employment as a CFO with Pelly Group in Jönköping where he has had the responsibility of finance, controlling, and IT. André has 15 years of experience from different companies working with an international focus and reporting. As a CFO at Alfa, André will take part in the Group Leadership Team, where he will use his competence and experience to develop our company further.
