IAM Opposes New Trump Administration Policy Suspending New Visas

On Monday, the Trump Administration extending a freeze on green card visas and adding further restrictions to other work visas like the H-1B and J1. The utilization of these Visa programs is one of the key labor initiatives utilized by US moving companies to obtain labor during the busy summer moving season.

 

Through existing partnerships, IAM is developing a coalition to push back against this issue to advocate for our members.

Service providers can now display their local time, the days of the week your office is open, and office hours making it easier for customers to know the best time to contact your company.

To showcase the new feature in your IAMX company profile, the company admin may take four quick steps to enhance your profile.

 

  • Login to IAMX
  • Locate your company name
  • Click “edit
  • Update the corresponding fields under the address section in your company profile

Additionally, contacts may add a skype address to their individual profile adding yet another form of communication through which you can be reached.

Michael Johnsen to join Arpin International Group’s global leadership team

Arpin International Group has appointed its Vice-President Asia-Pacific Region, Michael Johnsen, to its global leadership team. Johnsen will continue to serve in his present role as vice-president Asia-Pacific region and will take on the additional duties of the global leadership team immediately.
