Online Petition: STOP the Privatization of Military Household Goods Move Distribution

An Open Letter to the U.S. House & Senate Committee on Armed Services

has been gaining traction to show dissatisfaction with USTRANSCOM's decision decision to award a single source for all U.S. military moves. Currently more than 900 service providers are involved in doing these moves and the change in business practices will result in a number of impacts certainly to our industry, as well as to the military members we currently serve. When cash is tight, the Alan F. Wohlstetter Scholarship Can Help

The Alan F. Wohlstetter Scholarship Fund (AFWSF) awards up to ten $5,000 USD scholarships to assist the employees of IAM member companies and their dependents with university tuition. Paramount joins Harmony

The Harmony Relocation Network has announced that Paramount Transportation Systems (PTS), based in the USA and in Germany, became a full member on 1 May, 2020.

 

The Harmony Relocation Network In the USA, PTS has branches in San Marcos, California; Boston, Massachusetts; New York; Washington DC; Houston, Texas and Seattle, Washington. In Germany the locations are Frankfurt and Berlin. PTS has offices in other countries as well, but these have not joined the network.

Atlas World Group, Inc. Appoints David Smith as Vice President, Chief Information Officer of Atlas® Van Lines

Atlas® World Group, Inc., the parent company of Atlas® Van Lines, one of the nation’s leading moving companies, announces today that David Smith has been named Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Atlas Van Lines. Prior to his appointment at Atlas, he served for 12 years as Vice President and Senior Managing Director of Application Systems at OneMain Financial in Evansville, Indiana.

 

In his Atlas role, Smith will lead and oversee the IT functions for Atlas World Group and its ten subsidiaries, including technology capabilities, resources and assets. He will be responsible for overall strategy, execution and delivery of IT services across the enterprise to ensure alignment with company objectives.
