IAM Requests $187 Million USD in Relief Funds for Moving Industry
In response to DoD’s travel restrictions on military personnel, and the impact to household goods providers, IAM and AMSA are jointly working on efforts to request $186,600,000 million in COVID -19 financial relief.
If relief is not granted, IAM members who provide dedicated resources and capacity to service DoD moves, the family companies who serve the military could go bankrupt, resulting in hardship for them, and decreased capacity when normal operations are restored.

How to Reach IAM Staff During the Pandemic
IAM staff are exercising the principles of social distancing and some staff have self-quarantined during this health crisis. However, we are all still available by email and phone. Those who are working from home have forwarded their office phone lines to their home or cell phones. If email is not sufficient and you need to speak with a specific person, calling their direct line is the best option. You can find direct lines by selecting names on the IAM Staff List.

Personalize Your Profile in the IAM Mobile 24/7 App
|
A number of members have asked us how to make their profiles in our mobile app more robust so they can stand out and so people can recognize them. This is an easy process and very important to get the most out of your app and Annual Meeting experience.
First, open the mobile app and select the round “menu” button at the bottom. Then select your name under the IAM logo. Note - if you are not logged in or need to reset your login information or start a new account, select the same spot. It will say that you are not logged in. Just follow the instructions. Next, select either Profile Information or Social Networks. There, you can add relevant information such as your company, a photo, and more. Stand out from the crowd!
