Upgrades to the IAM Mobility Exchange: Improved Search Capabilities and IAM Member Enhancements

IAMX users can now segment searches by the type of company they are looking for: Moving, Relocation, Freight, or Industry Partners. This can make it easier and quicker to find the exact company or service provider you are looking for. We know you are busy, but finding the right business partner has never been quicker.

In addition, when you find the company you need, you can quickly see if they are also IAM members. There are also visual indicators to show good standing. A green check mark next to IAM indicates that a member has paid their dues. The orange check mark indicates that the member has not yet paid.

Vanpac GroupAsia welcomes Alvin back to the Removals Industry after 7 years away. He has been appointed General Manager / Network Director for Vanpac and will be based in HQ Singapore.

In his revised role, effective from 1st December 2019, he will work closely with Ricky Chng (Group’s President) to lead the development of the Vanpac GroupAsia network across the 15 locations in Asia.

Alvin shares a little about how he is feeling on his first day back at Vanpac:

What are you looking forward to upon returning to the industry?

Having been in the industry for over 12 years before I left, I have definitely made many friends. I’m excited and am looking forward to reconnect with them once again, catch-up on lost times and continue the working relationships and banters that we used to share. The warm welcome that the Vanpac team gave to me today definitely warmed my heart and I look forward to the same support that they had given me previously to help in our quest to bring Vanpac to the next level. I had gained invaluable experience during my time away and I look forward to sharing my experience with the team.

What has changed in your personal life since?

My personal life used to revolve around my wife, Karen, previously but now our lives revolves around a pair of 5 year old twins and a 2 year old boy. The kids have been a major change in our lives, bringing along a whole new meaning to evenings, weekends and holidays! The immense joy that they have brought to our lives is indescribable.
