The Professional Cooperation Guidelines Have Been Updated

The set of industry norms established and maintained by the FIDI Global Alliance has been updated and its 2019 edition is available for review on the (login required). The Guidelines serve as an operational manual and best practices document for how companies in the moving industry should work together to service international shipments, whether as booker, origin, or destination agent. Please replace any older version of the PCGs you may have in-house by the 2019 edition.

IAM encourages each Member company to read through the PCGs and acknowledge that it will agree to abide by these principles. Companies with validated listings on the IAM Mobility Exchange can upload their completed acknowledgement form to the platform to demonstrate their commitment to abide by the minimum service levels specified in the document. Please note that only companies who have uploaded a completed acknowledgment form, hence demonstrating their commitment to abide by the PCGs, will be given authorization by IAM to display the ‘PCGs’ logo (in its full version only).

IAM would like to thank FIDI for sharing the PCGs as an industry document. It demonstrates the ongoing spirit in which industry organizations can work together in an open and transparent manner to create a more conducive environment for our respective members to conduct business and provide the best possible service to their customers.
