After a number of years, U.S. Customs and Border Protection will once again provide a tool for your clients to request confidentiality when they ship to or from the United States. While your transferees can already request confidentiality , this is a positive step forward. Looking ahead, IAM and its partners continue to fight so that your clients do not have to request confidentiality at all. Matson's largest container ship to service Guam

The M.V. Kaimana Hila, Matson's latest addition to its shipping fleet, is docked at the Jose D. Leon Guerrero Commercial Port on Cabras Island during it's inaugural visit on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2019. The Matson Aloha-class vessel, and its sister ship, the Daniel K. Inouye, are the largest U.S. designed containerships, featuring greater capacity as well as state-of-the-art “green ship” technology to include a more fuel efficient hull design, dual fuel engines that can be adapted to use liquefied natural gas, environmentally safe double hull fuel tanks and fresh water ballast systems, according to Matson.

Suddath Welcomes Heather McBride-Morse As Chief People Officer

Suddath announced the appointment of Heather McBride-Morse as its new chief people officer.


McBride-Morse has a proven track record of driving the talent agenda, bringing with her 20 years of experience helping organizations to grow, both organically and through mergers and acquisitions. She has a passion for creating a top-tier employee experience and a signature motto of “making Monday the best day of the week.”


Most recently, she was the vice president of human resources at Fiserv, a global financial technology firm. While there, she created an operating model for the start-up international business unit, in addition to supporting the alignment of the employee and client experience. Before that, she worked in human resources at several premier global Fortune 500 organizations, including Raymond James Financial, Jabil Circuit, Honeywell and Eaton.


McBride-Morse succeeds Elizabeth Spradley, who is retiring after 31 years on the Suddath team.
