Updated Receivable Protection Program (RPP) Operating Rules and Regulations Now Available

 
 

IAM encourages all members to review the updated .

 

One key change to the RPP Operating Rules and Regulations is that the Invoice Dispute Resolution Process was changed to the Outstanding Invoice Intervention Process in order to better convey the true nature of this facet of the RPP.

 

Protect Your Clients' Privacy: U.S. Members Contact Your Senators

A coalition of military and moving associations is urging the U.S. Senate to swiftly pass into law S.998, the Moving Americans' Privacy Protection Act. This legislation would prevent the U.S. Customs and Border Protection from selling personally identifiable information from international moves, including Social Security numbers and passport data, to third-party data brokers. IAM has been advocating on behalf of transferees on this issue with CBP since 2010.

 
 
 
 
 
 

Typhoon Yutu Relief: IAM Here 2 Help in Action

 
 

Thank you to IAM Member Cargo Express (Saipan), Inc. for transporting 18 pallets of hygiene kits to a hospital on Saipan on behalf of Americares following the devastation of Typhoon Yutu last month.

 

Dues Renewals to be Sent Soon

The IAM dues cycle follows the calendar year and dues notices for 2019 are scheduled to be sent out in early December. Please look for the dues notice in your email around this time next month. David Arpin receives Wreaths Across America Spirit of Giving Award

 
 

Arpin Van Lines’ President and CEO, David Arpin, received the James Prout Spirit of Giving Award from Sarah and Rob Worcester of Wreaths Across America during the 34th Annual Arpin Agent Convention held in Newport, Rhode Island.

 

The Wreaths Across America James Prout Spirit of Giving Award commemorates James Prout, owner of a Maine trucking group and the first volunteer to haul wreaths for Wreaths Across America. The group presents the award annually to a deserving professional truck driver, company, or organization that has supported charitable causes in ways that will affect generations to come.

We have been getting many inquiries on our new fleet colors. Every two decades or so many companies refresh their brand, logo etc. Victory has had the same Gold/white/blue colors on its fleet since 1984. With all the changes in the industry and in an effort to re-brand its services, we decided a fresh approach not only to the way we need do business to remain competitive was in order, but a fresh coat of paint and a new look was required to let everyone know we are here for the long run.
