Do you or someone you know think you have what it takes to serve for the next two years as the YP Chair or Vice Chair?
For IAM-YP Chair, the responsibilities include:
• Non-voting member of the IAM Executive Committee
• Appointment of the IAM-YP Management Board and IAM-YP committees with approval from the IAM President.
• Work closely with the IAM-YP Management Board, IAM-YP committees and IAM Staff to accomplish the projects identified as important to the ongoing success of the IAM-YP.
The IAM-YP Vice Chair will also serve and support the Chair in the latter two responsibilities identified above.
Voting for the IAM-YP Chair and Vice Chair will take place starting August 1 in an online vote and the winners will be announced at the IAM-YP Members Meeting on October 5 during the 56th IAM Annual Meeting and Expo.
A formal notice of elections will be sent out in June. IAM-YP Chairperson, Catherina Stier, has signaled that she intends to run for re-election. All nominations must be sent to the Nominating Committee. The 2018 IAM-YP Nominating Committee is as follows:

Look for the IAM-YP Lounge in the Expo Hall!
If you have ever struggled to find a meeting space at the Annual Meeting we have great news for you! The IAM-YP Lounge will be available again this year for your convenience in the Expo Hall. Here there will be refreshments and an ample amount of tables for you to have meetings. The lounge will be located at the back of the Exhibit Hall near where all of the food will be served giving you easy access to grab a quick bite in-between meetings.
Meeting with someone that is not a YP member? Non-YPs will be allowed in the lounge only if they are accompanied by a YP member.

IAM-YP Social Mixer- October 7, 2018, 9pm-2am
This year's Social Mixer will be held at Bobby McKey's Dueling Piano Bar in National Harbor. Don't miss one of the biggest parties at the Annual Meeting! Remember, entrance to the Social Mixer is free with your YP membership however, you must pick up your bracelet at the registration desk the day of the event.
