IAM Here 2 Help (H2H) Receives Nonprofit Status
Here 2 Help, IAM's new nonprofit, has now been approved as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. H2H will serve as a connection point to organizations including governments, globally focused charities, and other NGOs that require private sector transportation, warehousing, and logistical support in the event of a humanitarian crisis or natural disaster anywhere in the world.
Membership Renewal Season
IAM membership renewal notices were sent via email on Dec. 4. We urge everyone to pay on time so memberships do not lapse, which would result in loss of IAM benefits such as RPP, important communications, and ability to attend the Annual Meeting. Want to pay early? We can help you do that too. Contact IAM's Membership Team.

Don't Miss Out on RPP Unpaid Invoice Compensation
If you are owed money by another IAM Member and suspect that that company has declared bankruptcy or ceased to exist as a result of being financially insolvent or otherwise unable to continue operations, please submit an RPP Unpaid Invoice Compensation claim on or before December 31, 2017, to be eligible to receive compensation during the first quarter of 2018. Any claim submitted in 2018 will only be eligible for compensation after the end of the 2018 fiscal year so be sure to submit claims now. Contact Brian Limperopulos.
IAM Mobile 24/7 and Mobility Exchange: Together at Last!
IAM Mobile 24/7, IAM's full-year mobile app, now features a seamless integration with Mobility Exchange, IAM's new powerful directory. This was the last part of our push to get the most-needed IAM information in your hands year-round. Open the IAM Mobile 24/7 App and select the Member Directory option. Contact Carl Weaver.
Getting Spoofed Messages? Beat the Hackers with this Simple Trick
We have something called an SPF record attached to our domain, and this is half of what we need to stop future spoofing events. The other half is for you to turn on SPF record checking in your spam filters. Once that is enabled, also block SPF SoftFail messages. This second part is where most of the problem comes from. If the SPF SoftFail is not blocked, it is like the scene in Star Wars where Obi Wan Kenobi says, "These are not the droids you are looking for." Your IT person will know what all this means if you do not and can do this for you.

IMC World Changes Venue from Bali to Dubai
From Andrew Rosemeyer: "IMC WORLD would like to inform our delegates that due to the Bali volcano risk we have had to move our annual convention to Dubai, UAE and the new dates, due to hotel availability will now be 23-25 Feb 2018 and the venue hotel will be the JW MARRIOTT in Dubai."

IAM Holiday Hours
Please note that IAM's office will be closed from Dec. 22 through Jan. 1. We will reopen on Jan. 2, excited for a new year of possibilities! IAM wishes you, your family, and your employees a happy year-end and New Year.
