IAM Alleged Debtor List: November 2017
In this message, you will find the latest edition of the IAM Alleged Debtor List, which is a collection of all IAM Members who have allegedly not paid invoices to other members. Latest information concerning companies who are either bankrupt, insolvent, liquidated, dissolved, or otherwise no longer operating is also included.

IAM Members are added to the Alleged Debtor List if the debt remains unpaid after IAM Staff intervention through the Invoice Dispute Resolution Process.

IAM Membership Renewals to be Sent Soon
IAM membership renewal notices will be sent in the next couple weeks. We urge everyone to pay on time so memberships do not lapse, which would result in loss of IAM benefits such as receiving this email - the Alleged Debtor List - and the ability to obtain unpaid invoice compensation if another IAM Member does not pay your invoice.

Want to pay early? We can help you do that too. Please refer to the dues realignment announced recently. Contact IAM's Membership Team.

Payout
What is the RPP Worth to Your Company?
Following the final claims review for the 2016 fiscal year, IAM paid out $192,500 USD to settle qualified Unpaid Invoice Compensation claims submitted through the RPP. In addition to what IAM paid out for the 2015 fiscal year, the Receivable Protection Program (RPP) has now compensated IAM Members $274,111.63 USD since it became an inclusive member benefit for all IAM Governing and Core Members on January 1, 2015.

IAM Member Companies Voluntarily Ending Membership

Below is a link to the list of IAM members who have voluntarily ended IAM membership during the 2017 fiscal year. This list is posted on the IAM Website at the link below:

RPP Note:
Companies who voluntarily ended their IAM Membership are no longer covered under the Receivable Protection Program beginning on the date in which they ended their IAM Membership. IAM will not accept any Unpaid Invoice Compensation claims submitted against the cancelled companies or intervene with these companies through the Invoice Dispute Resolution Process. Members in good standing are encouraged  to review all trading relationships with these companies, and be aware that IAM is neither able to compel a non-member to pay outstanding debts owed to an IAM Member nor pay out on claims lodged against that non-member.
nonpayment

IAM Members Cancelled for Non-Payment of Dues in 2017

Below is a link to the list of IAM Members who have failed to pay their membership dues, which were first invoiced in December 2016.

IAM has made multiple efforts, by every means of communication available to us, to encourage these members to bring their dues current. We are now purging these companies from the IAM member database.

Cancelled Members List

RPP Note:
Companies whose memberships were cancelled for nonpayment of dues are no longer covered under the Receivable Protection Program beginning on May 8,2017.

IAM Prospective Member List

Each month, IAM posts a list of prospective members who have applied and received conditional approval by the Association. The last step toward full membership is a review of the prospective members by the current IAM membership and subsequent notification to IAM's membership department of any objections. Contact membership@IAMovers.org with comments.

As required by the IAM By-Laws, Article IV Section 1, every application for membership shall be noticed to the entire IAM membership "who shall have thirty (30) days from the date of such notice to submit evidence that the applicant is not creditworthy or has not conducted business previously in an ethical manner." Below is the link to the current list of prospective members:

Misuse

Companies Misusing the IAM/HHGFAA Logo or Name
IAM tracks companies who are advertising the IAM/HHGFAA name or logo on their website and/or correspondence without authorization. We have submitted a cease and desist notice to these companies and, despite several requests, they are still illegally advertising affiliation with the Association.

We discourage IAM members from conducting business with the companies who participate in this unlawful and unethical practice. If a company complies with our request, we will remove them from this list. If you believe a company is illegally advertising the IAM/HHGFAA name or trademark on their website and/or correspondence, contact notify IAM us at rpp@iamovers.org.
