Dear ILN Member,
In our last eNewsletter in June, we recapped the Regional Meeting in Antwerp and how IAM is working to provide your companies with enhanced resources and opportunities to develop and build your logistics businesses. In this eNewsletter, we will expand on how we are trying to accomplish this second goal through the development of an online directory that will highlight each of your companies' credentials and special qualifications in logistics.
ILN Online Directory to be Launched
IAM's primary objective to provide an enhanced online directory for the ILN Membership is nearly complete. We are excited to unveil this valuable new tool to all of you at the ILN Business Session on October 9 between 4 - 6 pm in the Crystal Ballroom (J1 & J2) of the Orlando World Center Marriott.
After it has been launched, the ILN Online Directory will be an effective tool for marketing your company and developing business connections. Just like you can update your IAM Member Profile on the IAM website, your company will be able to select all of the specific certifications, association memberships, and licenses that your company currently has to fill out your ILN Member Profile. This tool will be easily searchable and provide you with the ability to quickly hone in on who can assist you with your various logistics projects.
ILN Business Session at the IAM Annual Meeting
The ILN will hold its annual Business Session on Thursday, October 9, between 4 - 6 pm. This event will be held in the Crystal Ballrom (J1 & J2) at the Orlando World Center Marriott.
In addition to the launch of the new Online Directory tool, IAM will discuss potential Regional Meeting destinations and finish with a Networking Cocktail Hour for all attendees. More detailed information on the event can be found by accessing the Business Session Agenda.
ILN Membership Listing
Access the latest edition of the ILN Membership on the ILN section of the IAM website. We are pleased to welcome Bournes Business Moves (Bournes International Moves) to the ILN.
Regional Meeting Feedback
Although IAM received only 6 out of 30 responses from those who attended, those responses were overwhelmingly positive with each stating that they would attend an ILN Regional Meeting in the future. Our challenge in the future will be to attract more attendees which will allow more business and network opportunities.
Other constructive feedback requested that IAM do a better job of highlighting the specific logistics capabilities of each attendee and provide training / education on how to handle different commodities. We have also received further feedback that IAM should do more to help encourage more sustained networking and relationship building.
IAM will take all of these valid suggestions into consideration so we can make the next Regional Meeting in 2015 an enhanced experience for all attendees. Thank you to everybody who offered this valuable feedback.

Reminder to Use ILN Logo
IAM encourages all ILN members to incorporate the Logistics Network's new logo into your marketing materials, business cards, and email signatures to show that you are logistics professionals and ready to do some business. This logo design captures the international element of logistics through the incorporation of the globe, and the gears represent the diverse - and often interconnected - nature of the logistics sectors.
The logo's shape is reminiscent of a key, and the tagline, "The Key to Success in Logistics", spells out what we all strive for together in ILN.
The logos can be downloaded on the ILN Community on the IAM Social Cafe.
