Mexico On Course To Double Port Capacity

Mexico’s Programa Nacional de Infraestructura (PNI), or National Infrastructure Program, aims to double existing port capacity by the end of 2018. Currently, ports have a combined capacity of 470m tonnes, up from 260m tonnes when the plan was first introduced in 2012. The target for this year is to reach 520m tonnes.
